Mergansers, Buffleheads, and Shovelers! Many of us are familiar with the Mallard Duck, but who are these other waterfowl with their funny names? Join Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and Bird Studies Canada to learn all about our winter visitors who come from the north to spend winter in the "warmer" south of Toronto!
Attend a 10 a.m. winter Waterfowl ID Workshop, or if you've got children, come at 11 a.m. for our family-friendly ID workshop! A viewing station will also be set up for all to stop at and marvel at the ducks and their friends.
The Environmental Governance Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs in partnership with the Law School at the University of Toronto are convening a discussion exploring the implications and implementation of recent national and provincial climate and energy policies and discussing the future of Canadian energy and climate policy in an uncertain global context. Our goal is to further the national and provincial conversations by bringing together multiple stakeholders and sectors.
