Benefits of Trees: Tree for Me
15 Sep 2016 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Annette Library, 145 Annette Street
Trees are a part of our everyday lives. They improve the quality of the air we breathe, sequester carbon, improve our mood, support wildlife, increase property value, and provide other countless benefits. Join Tree for Me to find out how trees benefit you and your family. Learn about the City of Toronto’s efforts to improve the tree canopy in your neighbourhood. Find out what the Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation is doing to support these efforts.
In the meantime, take the online survey at: http://www.torontoparksandtrees.ca/Programs/Programs/Tree-for-Me-1 which is a pre-requisite to make you eligible for a free tree. Details are yet to be announced about the subsequent workshop and free tree pick-up of October 29 event at the Annette Library.
Organized by Annette Library in collaboration with Green 13 and the Junction Residents’ Association.
