"GO ELECTRIC" update: request for "leafletters" and planning meetingThe "GO ELECTRIC" Music Festival is a "GO"! It will take place on Sunday September 26, from 1-6 p.m., in Sorauren Park (on Sorauren Ave, 1 block west of Lansdowne, south of Dundas Street).Your help is needed to distribute leaflets announcing the festival. Publicize the event! Build the campaign!Distributing leaflets door-to-door is labour-intensive but very effective. We reach neighbours who would otherwise not hear about the event. And the leaflet contains important news about the campaign. The leaflets will be ready for pick-up at 86 Brock Ave (just south of the railway underpass) on Thursday, September 9, 8:00-9:00 p.m., and Friday, September 10, 6- 7:30 p.m. If you cannot pick up leaflets at either of these times, please email Rob at email@example.com to arrange an alternative time. The leaflets are also available on our site if you wish to print them out yourself. Go to www.cleantrain.ca to download them. If you want to get more involved in organizing this event, the next planning meeting will be on Wednesday, September 15, from 6-8 p.m., at the Learning Enrichment Foundation, at 1267 Weston Road, about one block north of Eglinton. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
