On Sunday July 5th, thousands of people will take to the streets of Toronto to call for an economy that reflects our values, creates good jobs, and tackles climate change.
Taking our inspiration from the People’s Climate March, which brought together over 300,000 people on the streets of New York City, this march is going to be big, vibrant, and reflect the diversity of the climate movement.
The march design will vividly show the shocks created by our present economy and the solutions we must pursue in order to shift we need to a new, clean economy. More information will be coming soon about march contingents.
On Sunday, July 5th, join us to March for Jobs, Justice and the Climate with thousands of people who want to create a sustainable and hopeful future.
We’re taking to the streets of Toronto to call for a justice-based transition to clean energy. We want to build an economy that reflects our values, creates good jobs, and protects the air, land and water.
Last September, the People’s Climate Movement brought together thousands of Torontonians for the People’s Climate March as part of a global day of action with rallies held across the world.
This July, the world will be watching Toronto as the Pan Am games unfold and as the city hosts a Pan American Climate Summit and an Economic Summit.

Introducing the People’s Climate Torch
Inspired by the Pan Am torch, we will be carrying the People’s Climate Torch. Our solar-powered torch is a symbol of hope, unified climate action and commitment to our shared future.
On July 5th the torch will be passed from hand-to-hand by Pan-American residents of Toronto. We’re looking for people of all ages from the 41 Pan-American nations, Indigenous nations and communities, to carry the People’s Climate Torch during the march.
Join us and help us raise the torch, as we all pledge our commitment to protect our environment and our future. Let's join our voices to the voices of people around the world, as we call for meaningful action on climate change.
For further information, or to volunteer as a torchbearer, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
